Harrison Point Townhomes
Harrison Point is a nine unit high-end
residential gated community located in the
historic district of Dorchester, Massachusetts.
With less than 13,000sf of landscape, EJB
Designs collaborated with the various consultants
to help create a distinct place within a dense urban
area.
As requested by the owner, the community was to have a
cottage oasis appeal, which would embrace safety,
relaxation, convenience and distinct sense of place. Prominent constraints such as limited parking and landscape areas, severe topographical grade changes and drainage issues were formulated
by EJB Designs into valued amenities including:

- An automated gate system with masonry stone piers, low voltage lighting and decorative fences for creating a safer environment.
- Decorative brick pavers and retaining walls help to alleviate steep grades while defining the various spaces and paths that link them together.
- Transformation of existing dilapidated pool into a featured amenity and useable space.
- Confined spaces were complimented with structures such as pergolas, stone piers and lattice panels and ornamental native plants.
- Densely vegetated buffer plantings with evergreens, flowering tress, and shrubs provide screening from surrounding neighbors, year round interest and erosion control.
